MS-90 DNI Sensor

Designed to measure the Direct Normal Irradiance (DNI) without implementing a sun tracking system, the MS-90 DNI Sensor is an accurate solution for many applications. Featuring a rotating mirror that reflects the sunbeam onto a thermal detector, it can be used in combination with any pyranometer to measure the Global Horizontal Irradiance and the DNI to calculate the Diffuse Horizontal Irradiance (DHI).

This sensor uses a pulsed analogue output that can work with dataloggers with a pulsed analogue peak hold or input function – with the analogue pulse (0-5V) in proportion with the DNI.
