EMC Test Cabinets

Electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) is defined as the ability of an electrical device to work satisfactorily in its electromagnetic environment (interference susceptibility) and not to influence this environment in an impermissible manner (interference). The proof of not being susceptible to interference and sufficiently low interference emission is specified in the EMC Directive and the EMC standards.

By using the test devices from weisstechnik®, you can examine the effect of temperature on your samples and benefit from the optimal shielding effectiveness of this series during your EMC tests. The test room is designed so that the internal container takes on a shielding function, i.e., the ability to reduce electromagnetic fields and surface currents.

Reliable measurements are ensured by:

  • Test room and external housing made of stainless steel
  • EMC protection >50 db in the range 0.5 - 3.0 GHz
  • Preparation for customer-specific plug board
