The ShakeEvent Vibration Test Chambers are engineered to simulate the intense, combined mechanical and environmental stresses that components face in real-life operation, particularly in the automotive and aerospace sectors. These systems allow manufacturers to precisely simulate dynamic processes—like extreme vibrational forces and rapid temperature changes—in combination with thermal or climatic loads. This critical testing investigates stress limits in advance, helping to ensure the safety and longevity of your products.
The ShakeEvent features a modular design that can be adapted to shakers from a wide range of manufacturers. Its easily replaceable floor elements allow for exceptional testing flexibility:
Floor Configuration: Floor with a round or square duct, centered and vertically sealed.
Vibration Type: Vertical excitation.
Application: Uses a head extender or direct installation for vertical vibration testing.
Floor Configuration: Floor with a rectangular duct, off-centre and horizontally sealed.
Vibration Type: Horizontal excitation.
Application: Utilizes a slider bed setup for horizontal vibration testing.
Floor Configuration: Closed floor element without a duct.
Vibration Type: None.
Application: Extends the ShakeEvent into a standard temperature or climate chamber (ClimeEvent) for comprehensive environmental testing.
The chamber also features an electrical height adjustment system, allowing the test space to extend up to 2.2 meters to accommodate extra-tall specimens.
Contact Simultech today to implement the Weiss Technik ShakeEvent test chamber and accelerate your product development with precise, combined thermal and vibration stress testing.
